Laudelina de Campos Melo

Laudelina was a woman of courage and vision. Born in 1904, she founded the first domestic workers union in Brazil, a landmark that represented not only the pursuit of better working conditions, but also a direct confrontation with the structural racism that plagued Brazilian society.
