Antonio Rebouças

Born in 1839, and by his brother André Rebouças’ side were the first Black engineers in Brazil. Hired by the Companhia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro (São Paulo Railway Company) to build the first reinforced concrete bridge in Brazil, which initially had the commercial objective of connecting a railway line between Piracicaba and Limeira.
